L. Neal Smith, CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD, came to First Savings & Loan Association in 1953 at 21 years of age. In 1955 he became the youngest chief executive officer in the southeast and served in that capacity until his retirement in 2002. Mr. Smith became Chairman of the Board upon his retirement.
Ricky N. Smith, PRESIDENT, joined First Savings & Loan in 1990 as Vice-President and Loan Officer. He was previously in real estate. He became President in 2002 after the retirement of L. Neal Smith.
Janis G. Murray, CORP. SECRETARY, joined First Savings & Loan in 1981 as an Executive Secretary. She became Corporate Secretary in April 1993.
